Thank you for the tip about the double sided tape for the straps. The straps you added on my dress were great. They left red marks BUT I realised I should have lifted up my dress at least once during the whole day, but I didn’t. So that was my fault! I think the straps really ‘made’ the dress. Their shape was perfect.
Thank you for adding the bustle option. Lauren (my maid of honour) did it up before I entered the reception. It really helped having the train up (even though it was a little train) while walking around the reception tables and dancing.

Thank you for the gift. The hibiscus flowers in syrup were on Lauren’s shopping list for my hen’s party (a ‘girl’s night in’ at a cabin in Torquay) and she was having trouble finding them. The bubbles ended up being opened and enjoyed on the night of my wedding at the after party (I had a lunch time wedding).

I’ve been telling anyone who asks about your store and also my engaged friends. 🙂

Hi I just wanted to email and say Thank you for all of your help with my wedding dress, when I have sorted though photos I will tag you in some on facebook or email them through to you. (There is just so many to sort through!)  Our wedding was beautiful and turned out perfectly, even the sun shone through during our ceremony!  It went way to fast and is a blur to me, but I was happy and did feel like a princess all day!  I got my dress cleaned at QV Gowns and it cleaned up very well.  I will recommend your services to anyone I know looking for a dress.

I had to tell you what a sensational night we had on Saturday,  and how stunning Edwina looked in her “Bernice gown”.

It was just perfect for her,  and I extend to you my heartfelt thanks for your advice, humour and support from ” go -to-woe”,  as your willingness to ensure every detail was attended to without fuss gave Edwina the confidence she radiated on the day.

Edwina and Mike have headed off on their honeymoon and I am sure Edwina will catch up with you on their return, as you played such a important role in making her day so memorable.

When I bought my wedding dress in Melbourne, they told me that the alterations would cost an extra $950 dollars and listed off a dozen things that needed to be changed. When I decided to go to Yvonne instead they gave me all the same old lines about how ‘their staff know the dress and the fabric and it is a risk going anywhere else’. I am so glad that I followed my gut and went with Yvonne, not only is it so much more affordable, but she also told me that I didn’t need to change half of the things the store told me I did. She did an amazing job, and the dress looked like it had been custom created for my body. Her customer service is impeccable, and she is so delightful to spend time with that my mother and I actively looked forward to our visits!
